When you are fifty, your marriage is strong, you have two wonderful adult children 24 and 21, you have watched your eldest graduate, and the other is around the corner, and your career is growing…you would be surprised at how the smallest thing can catch you off guard. In my case, the smallest thing were my cells.

After going in for a routine physical, I was told that I had protein in my blood and that I needed further testing. In April 2016, I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. It is where a type of white blood cells in the bone marrow become a group of plasma cells that are cancerous and begin to multiply. MM disease can damage the kidney, bones, immune system and red blood cells.

I have never been a quitter and consider myself an optimist to the nth degree, and I believe life happens from me and not to me. With the help of a good friend, we created this site to help raise awareness and offer an affordable, well made t-shirt to earn monies towards the fight to beat cancers of all origin.

None of us know what the future holds, but all of us know what it is like to do nothing. Help us learn, accept and fight for a cure!
